    • Description

    UC 220 is a filled, thixotropic, solvent free, epoxy adhesive. It has been specifically designed for mortar patching and as a general-purpose adhesive in the construction industry. It is characterized by a good working life and fast cure.

    Product Application

    Patching of concrete, bonding of horizontal doweling bars/rods and as a general purpose adhesive and filler

    Surface Preparation

  • All surfaces to be clean, sound, and dry, free from any oil laitance, dust or curing agents.
  • Steel should be abraded, and concrete should preferable be abrasive blasted, etched or scabbled to remove laitance and expose firm aggregate.
  • Remove dust with compressed air or vacuum.

    • Mixing

    Mix the entire contents of the base and activator components thoroughly together until the colour is a uniform grey without lumps or streaks

    Cleaning

  • Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with UC 901.
  • Once the epoxy has set it may only be removed mechanically.

    • Safety

  • Contact with the skin should be avoided.
  • Wear gloves and protective clothing.
  • In case of eye contact wash well with warm water and obtain medical advice.
  • The cured material is not toxic.
